A goal of the vertical adjustment is for a greater inclination ability. It is just as desired when traveling on rides with a passenger and luggage as on the race track. The vertical adjustment is ± 5 mm, thereby giving a total range of 10 mm.
The adjustment itself is very simple. The adjusting knob is built in, and need only be adjusted with a 22 thin spanner.
The seemingly small 10 mm range of vertical adjustment cause an actual tail rise or lowering of up to 35 mm! Please be aware that the vertical adjustment will considerably affect chassis geometry, distribution of load, handling, straight line discharge and handling of the motorcycle.
The vertically adjustable shocks are abailable for mono and twin shocks and can be also re-tooled.
Is only for Wilbers adjustment, not for original BMW.
