The New MV Tube Stile Handlebar Adapter
New in the MV Program – The tube handlebar adapters in a new appearance – 50 mm
The new tube handlebar adapter for all 22 mm, 25 mm and 28 mm handlebars improves your seating position by optimal 50 mm. A play of 50 mm for “closer” or “25 mm higher” is possible. You will feel a noticeable advantage: No more tensed up and widely outstretched arm. You sit perfectly comfortable on your bike.
You can fit the adapter on all motorbikes with 32 - 34 mm boring distance or the 28 mm from 36 - 42 mm boring.
For those who which to have the tubes even closer, we offer our 70 mm model.
The adapter can easily be attached:
Detach the original handlebar forms - (Please take care the containers for break and clutch fluid are not tilt!) - and attach the lower part of the MV adapter. Now, just put the handlebars into the new adapters and fix it with the handlebar forms included in the adapter set. All necessary screws are provided.
Generally, it is sufficient to run all hoses and wires behind the fork brace. Eventually, for some bikes the wires have to be replaced by longer ones. In case of questions, please feel free to contact us.
For the BMW F800ST a longer brake line is requested - please refer to article no. 90002-f800st.
For the BMW R1200R, the adapter does not fit with the original BMW tank bag attached.
The following applies to Germany consumers only:
The adapter is shipped with TÜV approval. The models which we list have been accepted. For all other models, an individual acceptance can be made. You will need to take your bike in for inspection and approval.
For the BMW R1200R 2011+ a longer brake line is requested - please refer to article no. 90028b.
Generally, the adapter fits to all other bikes with a 22 mm, 25 mm or 28 mm handlebar with a hole center distance of 32 - 34 mm or 28 mm handlebar with a distance of 36 - 42 mm (please refer below).
The handlebar adapter can change the view into the mirror. We suggest the AC Schnitzer mirror extension set.
