You have waited long enough. Because we ourselves are all-weather riders, we could not rest until we found a solution.
The Universal Snow Claws Set
Whether ice or snow, you can proceed. Our universal snow claw set is also suitable for cross-country driving or in the rain forest, the desert, on gravel roads, in the mud etc.
A considerable plus of our solution is the quick change of the snow claws. Due to different road conditions f.e. snow banks and then again icy roads a quick change is necessary. No Conventional snow claw can keep up, because the change often is very difficult and often additional help is need.
Conventional snow chains for motorbikes often require too much space /clearance breadthwise. Mostly the assembly is impossible due to the very close air gap between tire and chassis.
However we made it now possible with the following idea:
We insert a band of only 1,5 mm thickness combined with a claw made of V2A and only 8 mm in height. This combination fits on all bikes with open rim.
We achieved the best result with 5 claws but even with 3 claws it works already. The claws are put on and carefully fastened over the rims with a fabric band. The ice covered roads no longer stand in the way. Slowly insurmountable distances and upward grades can be mastered.
Caution
The snow claws should only be driven at slow speeds. Consider that the front wheel can suddenly veer out on ice or snow.
The set contains 5 or 3 claws (please choose with your order) and fits to all tyres with open rim.
Now we also offer snow claws for side cars with 125., 135. or 145. sized tyres on stock.
