Now available, the driver's back rest adjustable in 3 positions.
Very important is the axial adjustibility which depends on 10 mm.
Sitting for hours without any back rest is against the human nature. We do not accept this when driving a car or sitting on a chair. But the motorcyclist has to put up with it.
Our back rest is a considerable advantage of driving comfort and well-beeing and, in addition, offers a superior and more relaxed curv behaviour. The more tight the back rest is positioned the less are the back disorders.
The back rest is turned down within seconds for a better getting on the bike. Thereafter, the back rest is elevated and off you go.
Every motorcyclist knows the oscillating motion when riding the bike with a topcase but without pillion rider.
We noticed that this oscillating disappears as soon as a luggage pack is fixed between the back rest and the topcase. Of course, it is much nicer to have your wife or your pillion rider sitting on the bike.
The experience with acceleration is not to be underestimated:
You will be into your back rest like into a seat of a racing car.
Our system consists of a base plate, the upper adjusting part, which has a wak link, and the back rest cushion with mounting.
The whole system is quickly fixed to the back seat with a tension belt whereas slipping will be avoided by a thick foam rubber which is fixed underneath the plate.
In case the back rest is not needed, it can be folded and stored in the topcase.
Optionally, we offer the 3 liter Ortlieb Bag which is 100 % water-proof. It can be fixed to the back side with a special MV mounting with quick-fastener.
All options are offered in black. The aluminum parts are powder-coated.

Upper width 300 mm
Lower width 240 mm
A base plate you can buy with which the pillion seat still is usable.
The back rest is recommendable for all motorcycles with an upstraight sitting position.
In addition we also reccomend to order our pillion cushion for comfortable sitting of the pillion.
