This very nice rear wheel hugger for the R1200R and S is bolted to the cardan shaft of your bike with 3 screws. This fitting is so awesome and simple that it has been certified through the German Patent Office and protected.

The length of the rear wheel cover was chosen so that not only reduces the pollution of the motorcycle considerably, also your strut will be pleased about the relief of stone chips, dirt and "sandblasting". Specifically, the life of the struts and piston rod of the strut is significantly increased by the addition of an efficient rear wheel cover.

The special shape of the rear wheel cover reduces the pollution of the motorcycle by the rear wheel considerably. The respective shape of the cover is model-related chosen so that standard suspension or tire variants are taken into account

The carbon part was made completely from prepreg material according to the latest guidelines in the autoclave and in the next step, as usual at Ilmberger, coated to protect against environmental influences with a clear plastic coating.

This plastic coating exceeds the usual clearcoat in the protective effect, scratch resistance and durability enormously. But not only technically can the coating score, but it also underscores the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure again clearly.
