Carbon tank for BMW R Nine T

The 100% carbon tank is the highlight for the BMW R Nine T series up to model year 2021.

The focus is on weight reduction (usually a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original part) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material (see FAQ) in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating to protect it from environmental influences.

This plastic coating far exceeds the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. However, the coating not only scores points technically, but also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
