MV Handlebar Slide adjustable,including handlebars, for BMW R1200RT LC and R1250RT LC

You have the option of ordering the 1250RT with cast handlebars or tubular handlebars. With tubular handlebars, you automatically think that it comes closer to the driver. But that's not the case, it's actually 18mm further away from the rider.

On multiple customer request, we have now designed an adjustable handlebar slide for the BMW R1200RT LC and R1250RT LC, which will be mounted on a new steering head plate.

Since the original design does not allow the handlebar to get much closer, we were forced to develop a new steering head plate.

Our principle that we follow for 20 years is the adjustability of the seating position. We have made this possible with the new handlebar slide.

Only by manufacturing a new steering head plate is it possible to bring the handlebars by a total of 65 mm closer as desired and not only higher.

In resting position the handlebar slide is 31 mm closer to the driver than original. From this point on, you can now adjust the motorbike handlebar in three stages to yourself, via an index pin. Thus bringing the handlebar up to 65 mm closer than the original. The handlebar will then also be 100 mm wider.

So you can adjust the supertourer in accordance to your trip, height and well-being. The combination with our flexibly adjustable footrests completes the whole thing and contributes to an absolutely relaxed driving pleasure.

This results in a natural ergonomic and a healthier sitting position.
