The advantages of the MV tubular handlebar adapter at a glance

With this new development, every adjustment requirement is now met. A full 70 mm of adjustment – whether higher or further forward – is now available. This allows you to achieve natural ergonomics for a more comfortable riding position.

   
• Quick adjustment: With adjustment times of just approx. 2 minutes, the handlebars can be quickly adapted to the ride at hand. Nothing now stands in the way of a motorway journey with a high handlebar position followed by sporty cornering in the mountains.

   
• Extreme safety: The handlebar adaptors feature a strong milled knurling on the retaining pin. This provides exceptional protection against twisting, which is absolutely essential, particularly during heavy braking manoeuvres.

   
• Clean design: The unsightly appearance of the M8 bolts in the clamping blocks has been addressed in the MV clamping blocks so that they are fitted invisibly facing downwards.

   
• Additional feature: A ball mount can be attached to the 22 mm tubular handlebar adapter to secure your sat-nav.

Compatibility and important fitting instructions

The adaptors are available for 22 mm motorbike handlebars and come in silver and black anodised finishes. Please select your choice when ordering. All MV products have been fitted and tested on original motorbikes – without any aftermarket modifications.

Supported motorbike models (examples)

Here are some models on which the adapters have already been successfully fitted: F800ST, F800GT, F650GS, F700GS, R1100GS, R1150GS, R1200R, R1150R, R1200GS.

Important fitting tip

Please bear in mind that we cannot test every model. However, you can check on your own motorbike whether the brake and clutch hoses are long enough. In most cases, it is sufficient to route the brake or clutch hose behind the fork tube. However, always ensure that the hoses are not under tension or trapped. We would be delighted if you could share your experience with us.
