With the adjustable tubular handlebar adapter from MV, we have succeeded in producing an adjustable adapter that fits almost all motorbikes that have been mass-produced with 22 mm tubular handlebars since 1910 and will continue to do so in the future (not just BMW motorbikes).

Tubular handlebars have been around for as long as motorbikes have been mass-produced. But this also applies to the different arm lengths. There are ‘happy’ people among us who simply sit on their motorbike and say: ‘That's fine’. But many wish the handlebars were a little closer or perhaps a little higher.

Every motorcyclist knows the tension in the body and neck caused by a cramped arm position on long journeys. This problem, which is also familiar to racing cyclists, can often be remedied by surgery. However, a two- to three-month break from riding is then required.

Nobody should be under the illusion: ‘I only have this problem today! You will have this problem every time you ride. As long as you're tense on the motorbike, you can't feel comfortable riding.

Now we have solved this problem on motorbikes with tubular handlebars.

Thanks to this new development, the adjustment leaves nothing to be desired. You now have 70 mm of leeway to move the handlebars closer together, upwards or away.

This ensures natural ergonomics and a comfortable riding position.

Thanks to the short adjustment time of only approx. 2 minutes, the handlebars can be quickly adapted to any tour. Nothing stands in the way of a motorway ride with a high handlebar position, followed by a sporty ride on mountain bends.

The handlebar adapters have a strong knurling on the fastening pin. This gave us extreme protection against twisting, which is absolutely essential, especially during hard braking manoeuvres.

The unsightly M8 screws in the MV mounts are designed so that they are not visible from below.

A ball for the navigation device can be attached to the 22 mm adapter on the handlebars.

Please note that we cannot test all models. However, you can check on your motorbike whether the brake and clutch lines are long enough. We would be delighted if you could let us know about your experiences.
TIP:
It is usually sufficient to route the brake or clutch line behind the fork leg.
However, always make sure that the cables are not stretched or pinched.
